GR11: B- (Comfy, but somewhat boring and I'm not a fan of Mediterranean summers)
Teritus: B- (A bit too warm in the summer, and a bit gloomy, but otherwise quite nice )
B87: C (Too warm year round, med summer again)
JGTheOne: D+ (Too warm, extreme med pattern)
GR8CAT: D- (Too hot, with and I'm not big on the more severe reverse med patterns)
MuffinMan: C+ (Rater comfortable, but a little too warm and dry for straight monotony, with the monotony being a problem in its own right)
Thunder: Changed my mind, C- (Excessive temperature variation, and rain, but still somewhat decent)
Shalop: F (For Freeze )
It just means a defined summer precipitation max I believe. Does it have to be tropical?
When I here monsoon I think of South and Southeast Asia, usually that's where I hear most referring to monsoon's, but I guess it could be used elsewhere

Wikipedia says:
Quote:
Monsoon is traditionally defined as a seasonal reversing wind accompanied by corresponding changes in precipitation,[1] but is now used to describe seasonal changes in atmospheric circulation and precipitation associated with the asymmetric heating of land and sea.[2][3] Usually, the term monsoon is used to refer to the rainy phase of a seasonally changing pattern, although technically there is also a dry phase.
