See the title. Which form of severe weather has the greatest impact on the quality of your life/is the most difficult to deal with in your opinion? I also know some of these aren't mutually exclusive (i.e. hurricanes can create localized tornadoes), but just take your best guess.

There hasn't been a major tornado in my area since the 1970's, though there was one in Springfield, MA that I remember back in 2011. I think today is the 4th anniversary. I've seen tornadoes before and even though they're really cool to see, you have to admit it's very scary since you don't know what path it's going to take. It could turn and come directly to you and it's not easy to outrun in a car. Hurricanes aren't common in my area too. Blizzards probably make the biggest impact on CT, especially back in January and Februrary. It was brutal. One of the best things about CT...you don't have to deal with Hurricanes, Earthquakes, and Tornadoes too often.

I've dealt with most of those except hurricanes so I will definitely say tornadoes. The sirens are going off and the weatherman is doing his best to scare the crap out of you, " THIS IS A MONSTROUS TORNADO AND IT WILL BE IN YOUR AREA IN 2 MINUTES, SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY. " As you're sitting in your basement waiting for your life to end you hear a very loud roar, unlike anything you have ever heard before. Your house starts to shake and vibrate and you wonder what's holding it together. You manage to survive and when you go outside you see how much of a house you have left. Then you have to deal with having no power for days and trying to get ahold of those snakes from the insurance company and if that ain't bad enough, you will constantly hear knocks at your door from roofing company weasels.

Don't rank earthquake and wildfire. Those aren't weather.

I voted for "other"

I'd say Mild Thunderstorms, the kind that lull you into a false sense of security....then....BLAM-O!

Tornadoes are the most frightening in my mind but with that being said I believe the overall destruction that hurricanes/cyclones/typhoons bring in their wake trumps all the other choices with ease... I change my mind, those are the most frightening. Tsunamis might take the cake but their not really a solid "weather" choice.

By my lights a tornado is the worst. You might get a very few minutes warning, or you might not. You don't know where it's coming from unless you can see it coming, and at night or in heavy rain you most likely won't. Having been through one I'll say I can think of nothing more terrifying. When I lived in rural Alabama Spring was a really scary time, with the angry skies, clouds racing around, and the sirens going. There was nowhere to run, and you didn't know if a tornado would touch down on top of you. Yup, I vote for the tornado.
