Mariupol, Odessa, Kerch, Constanta in that order. Those cities get enough snow and cold in winter, and aren't too wet. On the Turkish side they are OK climates, but could do with properly Mediterranean summers, which seem to stop at the Bosporus. Trabzon is incredibly dull, considering it dries out somewhat in summer.
The ones on the eastern side are horribly rainy, and have British-style winters. Batumi especially is frankly a disgusting climate. The Black Sea almost seems to be the Atlantic in miniature, cool and dry climates on the western and northern side, mild and rainy ones on the east.
They're all pretty good climates. Kerch, Yalta, Constanta or Novorossiyk appeal to me quite a bit. Winters similar to here (with more rain), warm summers (but moderated).
I'd take time to pick one precisely, they're good balanced 4 season climates, the ones that kinda miss in Western Europe.
Does anyone know how accurate the stats are for gelendzhik? It seems oddly dry for a eastern Black Sea climate. It's as dry as Kerch yet is 35 km from novorossiysk which receives almost twice as much rain?
