I'll say this: American foreign policy has been GENERALLY quite good since the end of WWII. America's detractors fail to appreciate the role America has played in curtailing communism. Dirty communists themselves aren't happy, of course. Most of America's foreign policy detractors are (usually unwitting) tools of communist/soviet propaganda.
Why does the UK need diplomatic relations with friggen Ecuador? Why not just break them off and arrest Assange? Recall UK embassy personnel from Ecuador first. Then haul Assange's ass out of there in handcuffs. maybe Jeff Sessions can persuade the Brits to do it?

"[WikiLeaks] directed [Bradley] Manning to intercept specific secret information, and it overwhelmingly focuses on the United States. It’s time to call out WikiLeaks for what it really is: A non-state hostile intelligence service often abetted by state actors like Russia.”
I'm starting to like Mike Pompeo. Excellent choice to head the CIA:
In a 2017 speech addressing CSIS, Pompeo referred to Wikileaks as "a non-state hostile intelligence service" and described founder Julian Assange as a narcissist, fraud, and coward.
"...we can no longer allow Assange and his colleagues the latitude to use free speech values against us. To give them the space to crush us with misappropriated secrets is a perversion of what our great Constitution stands for. It ends now.
...Assange and his ilk make common cause with dictators today. Yes, they try unsuccessfully to cloak themselves and their actions in the language of liberty and privacy; in reality, however, they champion nothing but their own celebrity. Their currency is clickbait; their moral compass, nonexistent. Their mission: personal self-aggrandizement through the destruction of Western values."
Surprise that the CIA doesn't want the public to know about how they collect data of innocent people. Without Snowden we wouldn't had known about PRISM and other methods who violate your constitutional rights.
And don't even think that Chelsea Manning got a fair trial. Do you believe in Santa Claus?
Hostile foreign states like Russia meddling in the USA, collecting data on American citizens (the Yahoo fiasco anyone?) and we hear endlessly about PRISM. America has the best legal process in the world. I am not concerned about PRISM. What should be concerning to any American is the attempts to undermine America.
I'm looking forward to more great developments from Jeff Sessions in his career. LOL. Only Trump could have nominated someone like Jeff Sessions as attorney general.
I watch this lady who does body language interpretation of political figures. Here's Assad: https://youtu.be/G8lyktVh4yQ
