Why don't you just block their feed on Facebook? That's what I have done with annoying family members or old friends that clutter my timeline with stupid selfies with snapchat filters or ones that go on about being bloody vegan. You remain on their friends list, but you never see anything they post
I've done that with fam that just posts religious bull**** on their FB
I did that with my ex, who was quite clearly posting nonsense just to make me jealous lol
I just don't understand social media.. I know I look terribly socially inept on it, so i've given up and stopped writing things on it. I stick to reading now.

Yep, I've had to unfriend annoying people from highschool who are laughably trying to be relevant or posting whorish selfies. I have one family member that I've just unfollowed due to the amount that they post.

I have a FB friend (a distant relative) who posts pictures of herself and her family not just everyday, but every 6 hours or so. At the same place. With the same looks. The same filters.
It's annoying when you don't dislike the person but they spam the feed so one has to unfollow but don't want to unfriend
I think the feed is full of baloney anyways these days, had I not had some close friends on there I'd shut the account down by now. Stupid ads, cringeworthy memes about disgusting stuff etc... I think Facebook has gotten complacent and maybe one day will be supplanted by something else, just like it did to Lunarstorm, MSN Messenger and Myspace back in the day.
In other news, allergy sneezes in late December in Sweden? Those plants must be on a suicide mission because of the mild weather... they really should know there are at least 50 frosts remaining!

Because they are narcissists... I completely unfriended my partners sister, partly because she is a ****, but also because not only did she post selfies of her fugly self multiple times a day, (with her bright orange face), but she then re-shared all these daily selfies every time they appeared on her timeline that she had posted a year previously, two years previously etc...
I rarely post things from myself, I usually just re-share funny things I see & sometimes post photos of my cats
