Yeah well of course. It was the warmest December on record.

December 2010 had an average low 23 F (13 C) colder than December 2015, so I guess it can be "variable" here too.

December 2010.(69/50) Doesn't seem possible that these two are the same place.

I have to find a new job. My boss replaced my 40 year old experienced self with a 21 year old bobble headed giggly teenybopper and demoted me to a button pushing monkey

What do you do? Maybe you can go take some classes to help you refresh yourself to make you more competitive with younger folks if you don't do that already.

I guess your boss wants some eye candy while he works. Don't worry, she'll be 40 one day as well.

Might be actually. Sounds terrible though.

LOL, dunno, but that's not the problem. My boss is a middle aged heterosexual woman. The problem is I'm a part timer and the young thing is a full timer. She recently replaced a last full time employee who worked five days a week, but she works six days a week, leaving me only one day a week to work instead of two. One isn't enough, so I'm leaving because they won't make her take one day off each week to give me an extra workday.

Ironically, it will be much harder for their company now instead of me, because I can easily find another part time job given my skills (medical), but there is no way they will find another part timer willing to work only one day a week, so neither of the two will ever get a day off at all once I jump ship.

I understand that part time people are not as important as full time people, but they are still important to a company's well being.
