Interstates and some other highways are federally owned, but the maintenance is down by the state; feds just give the states funds. Small roads are often maintained by local governments. Though I don't American roads aren't that bad; but perhaps we go for quantity more than quality. British roads do seem a bit better, though there's less freeze/thaw cycles to wear down the roads.

The roads aren't bad, it's the intercity travel that is costly and awful. Buses are literally worse than the ones in Latin America, Greyhound at least is trying to modernize their buses a bit, but Coach buses still look like something out of the 80s

Looking back, people probably thought it was a B87 duplicate.

But it wasn't...
Spoiler
It was me.

Yup, I initally thought B87 lol. He seems to be promoting London's climate less and less as time goes by

It wasn't even two years ago, but it seems a hell of a lot longer, and I'm surprised by how different I seem. Way more formal, humourless, shilling for the UK's climate, etc.

Everyone else seems the same, right down to a trademark easthome meltdown

dhdh seems to have changed a lot. He was extremely negative and vitriolic about Britain's weather in that thread, but recently he seems to a fairly reasonable opinion about London's climate at least.

I vaguely remember that there was someone in the thread who seemed pretty aggressive and angry, after looking back at it I'm very surprised to find out that it was him. During the rare occasions when he does post he seems level-headed.
