The Florida sun fried his brain. Honestly, I'm not sure why he started behaving like that.

Yeah, ColdCanadian would go into pretty detailed analysis about the effects temperatures would have on him. I enjoyed talking with him. I felt bad for ILNC being stuck in Houston lol. Wavehunter seemed okay at first but got increasingly annoying.
It does!

Yeah, CC would write essays explaining how different temperatures had an effect on him lol. He would also notice the smallest changes in temperature too, he had really interesting insight and contributions to this forum.

I felt bad for her too lol, she longed for Maggie Valley, NC; Which honestly, I think she would want colder winters than that lol. Maggie Valley is a lot better than Houston to be fair.

Wavehunter was cool at first until his noticeable warm bias started coming through.

There does seem to be a number of older users whose mental conditions deteriorated over time, MeteoMan seems to be another one. That guy looks like a real kook. But he did live in Buxton, has that place ever produced a mentally stable user?

I don't think he's that old. Maybe early 30s now? He made a lot of good contributions as well.

Meteoman would argue with you even when you agreed with him lol. The guy had a bunch of loose screws.

I mean "old" as in they were members of the site stretching back a good number of years.

Looking at his blog, he seemed depressed. Like, really, really depressed. Not to put too fine a point on it, do you think he's even still "with us"?

Oh, my bad. Alex, nei, and myself have been slipping as well.

I didn't realize how quiet the forum was then. The Summer 2011 thread only had 110 posts! Much harder to keep up now.

I hope so. I mean the guy was a kook and me and him had some arguments, but I would never wish that type of harm on anyone. I've seen people say that "Northnomad" guy is him but I really doubt it. Northnomad has significantly different preferences and style of writing.

I think this year the summer thread had 110 posts already even before winter ended.
