It'll hit their bottom line on his first day...

That poor people can get suckered in like a drunk get from alcohol, I get it. But I absolutely can't get how the stockbroker constituencies in West London have people flooding to vote for a terrorist sympathizing Karl Marx fanboy. It's about the EU, simples. Brainwashing public school system hasn't helped either. Britain's youth are fruit-loops in general.
You have a tendency to oversimplify things.

Stalinists often turned up in great numbers at some Labour rallies, but I wouldn't call Corbyn and his gang Stalinists. Some of them are definitely Marxists however.

So: why would a stockbroker in West London vote for Comrade Jezza?

Kensington has finally declared after several recounts (like many petulant Tory MPs the incumbent refused to concede) - Labour gain the seat by 20 votes.

One of the richest seats in the country voted for, in lommaren's words, a 'communist' - lol!

People underestimated how pissed off Remain voters were, even Tory ones. May lost their votes while chasing after kippers.

I don't think DUP are already for the level of scrutiny GB parties receive on a daily basis. There are a lot of skeletons in that closet. The Tories might tarnish their reputation irreparably depending on how this pans out.

Most stockbrokers supported May, the markets reflected that. When it became clear she wasn't going to win a majority the market fell sharply.

Only one national party was making a clear pitch for pissed off Remain voters, and they won 12 MPs. Labour have resigned themselves to Brexit, which is possibly why so may kippers came back to them.

It wasn't a backlash against Brexit - it was a backlash against a Tory Brexit. That's the difference.

Kensington can f*ck right off. I'm never going to put a penny into London or Brighton's tourist industries, even though I'm bang on to visit England one day

I'll avoid those places like the plague!

Anyone else notice that Ariete hasn't posted in at least a few days? I wonder what happened to him. Hope all is well.
