If you want to make that correctly, and it's äänenvoimakkuus in Finnish it's: sound intensity, ljudintensitet, intensité acoustique and so on in the other languages.
If you want to use 'volume' as in dm3, it's 'tilavuus' or 'volyymi'. That doesn't make it funny, but it makes it correct. Volume in all those languages are only a slang synonym for sound intensity, and incorrect language, and volyymi also in Finnish.
