Snowfall totals so far March 2017. Look who's winning still. Will they finish in 1st place???

Looks like only Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Scranton, and Burlington will give Binghamton a run for their money.

Next time I'll have a poll with 30 locations to cover them all. lol

The Euro loves 'em mega snowstorms for the northeast. They'd like to bury us under a glacier if they could. LOL.

That would be a dream, but I definitely wouldn't bet on it.

Surely the snow will melt eventually? The sun angle will be getting on at that latitude will it not?

Lol, that's what I think. UV index hits 7 on Tuesday and 8 beginning of April here so NYC probably has a UV index of some 5 or 6.

Yeah it probably would melt pretty quickly. We've had snow in April, but it would disappear within a week.

Past decade it has really dumped snow in the northeast, wonder when mother nature will try to balance it out a bit. I believe it's because of a positive AMO which leads to a strong southern jet and warmer waters which means very amplified storms as they ride up the east coast.
