Yeah, yeah I know. Not that long.
Thought it would here today, but the lightning literally just stopped when it got to within one county of us. I got a minute or two of light rain.

God, that sucks. I hate when that happens here. Do you think urbanity kills off storms? A lot of storms seem to die in the ass when they come in from the Everglades into the metro area. Sometimes I feel like we'd average 30-40 more thunderstorms a year if we were 20-30 miles west out in the boonies.

As of 10 o'clock this evening in Fort Worth, Texas , at the nearest station to where I am located the air temperature was 85 degrees with a dew point of 68, and skies were fair; back home in Indianapolis, which is an hour later, they were reporting a temperature of 81 Degrees and a dew point of 69

What would cause that? You may be right. Doesn't seem to be an issue for Louisville though...

I think for Miami/South FL's case, it might be a thing of ocean moderation. Also, the center of the peninsula is where you'd have both the sea breeze from Gulf and the Atlantic meeting up, so that probably causes greater instability. The area where Collier, Hendry, Palm Beach, and Broward county meet up gets some envious storms.

I've noticed the storms that come when we have a SW flow are our best storms, so essentially storms coming out from the Gulf.

If I don't get any precip today it will make 6 days in a row without! WOW feels weird. lol

Last time that happened was August 1-8, 2016. There were other times that had a drizzle or a "Trace" here which interrupted the streak but as far as 0.00 have to go back 10 months!

20 min north of me. Low of 40 the other day, 65 this morning. Max of 50s a week ago, 90s this week. Bridgeport at the coast Max 50s to 90s. Low 50s to 70s. What Stable?

we had 89°F with a dew point of 63°F at 8 PM. Same heat index! Doesn't feel the same. Cool off inside nicely with a fan aiming at my bed, I actually put another cover over me. Going for a 2 mile run, will be ok on this hot morning? Leaving soon before the sun gets worse. 72°F with a dew point of 64°F, would have been in the mid 60s at sunrise.
