Hard to see with map but there's Cumulus clouds around up there. Blue skies. Green Grass. Deep green trees. Dews in 50s. Temps in low 70s. Amazing.

Looks like it's cloudy in the Adirondacks. Rain hitting them tomorrow.
In northern Vermont, cloudy watery sky to the west and clear blue to the east

**** winter.

Today felt okay, though hardly ideal for late July, only 76/64F, normal is about 85/70F, ideal would be 90/74F.

Oh don't worry, come October we'll probably get the ridge back and it will be Top 10 warmest Fall and Winter again. lol

Nice. NWS Albany mentioned the cloud cover type:

Quote:
National Weather Service Albany NY

As of 430 pm, skies range from mostly sunny in the Hudson
Valley north of Catskill to mostly cloudy over the Mohawk Valley
and Southern Adirondacks. A good coverage of diurnal cumulus
has sprouted up over the higher terrain east of the Hudson as
well. A broad expanse of cirrus is approaching from the west.
This should ensure that cloud fraction will stay the same or
increase into the evening for most areas.

3 Maps.

5:20pm.. Still cloudy to your west over the mountains. No rain though. 60s this afternoon upstate NY. Can you see that strip of clouds in Southern Vermont or scattered ones to your East?

No sound of pools here past 5 days.. No A/C past 3 days except at night I still turn it on.

Looking at Whiteface mountain in the Adirondacks.

From the Top of Whiteface. AWESOME!

NWS Boston Says it nicely:

4 PM Update...

1020 mb high over the region late this afternoon providing
splendid weather with temps mainly 75-80 along with comfortable
humidity. Stable/cool marine airmass has come onshore via
seabreeze circulation and has resulted in a lack of diurnal
clouds along the immediate coast per latest GOES-16 Imagery. All
of these attributes will set the stage for very pleasant
weather this evening.

Last photo makes me think of a bicycle accident. Nice photos though; useful map; was wondering how close rain was to me; sky changed fast in 2 hours. Mid 60s maybe a bit cooler

We had a few days last month with heat index's 110°F+, but with temps higher than that and low dewpoints, and I'll put it this way, the NOAA/NWS is right when they say the body can't cool with heat index's that high. The time I had to spend outside those days was brutal, I couldn't stop sweating despite dewpoints in the 20s&30s

Sorry for bringing back a bad memory.

Here's a nice view. Last 4 hour loop. 2-6pm.

I see how Northern VT changed being sunny then those clouds moving in.
Watch the Cumulus in CT move north then vanish
Little radar glitch

Steady 70s for most of region all day. My max 77.5° now dropping. Should drop fast since its dry.
