I don't like humid summer conditions or thunderstorms. A hot, dry Mediterranean summer with a beautiful, warm ocean is what suits me best.
Yeah, like a year ago. My dream climate now has an average high of 92 F (33 C) in July, 88 F and 86 F for June and August respectively.

I remember you used to like cool and cloudy summers.

Climate preferences are very circumstantial. I mean, I like conditions that are favorable for swimming. But it's all predicated on the availability of air conditioning. A century ago, I might have felt differently. There's no such thing as an absolute preference for a certain type of weather.

Yeah, honestly if AC didn't exist, I'd probably want it cold year-round as I'm much more comfortable in cool/cold weather than I am in hot weather.

Also, last year I realized I like it hardcore in both summer and winter. I've been thinking about raising the average summer temps of my dream climate by another 4 F and 3 F in August. Would make June's average high 92 F, July at 96 F and August at 89 F. And maybe winter another 5 F colder.

I know one thing for sure though, I've always liked cold winter and I don't think anything can really change that lol. Weather inconveniences don't bother me.

But if I remember correctly, you're not a very big fan of the beach... yet you're acquiring a taste for summer and you're in an extremely enviable location for the beach

I'm beginning to realize the importance of living close to a beach. Living close to a beach=beach volleyball+fresh seafood, both very important factors. Up there in Upstate NY it is so far away from the ocean that the seafood has to be transported there, so the seafood tastes like plastic. Whereas in a coastal city the seafood is gonna be hype

I do like the beach to an extent, I much prefer a pool no dealing with sand and littering morons, also I can get as drunk as I want swimming in the pool (a backyard one, preferably), because this country is stupid and outlaws drinking at the beach.
