take Teigmouth's 3 winter months and times by 4 , that is your total .
Obviously my comparison is very averaged out - Teignmouth won't get anything like laying snow or the cold snaps you would get in a typical Torshavn year and Teignmouth wouldn't get any 15c sunny days in winter .
And very obviously, Torshavn would have more daylight de facto
That's assuming that Teignmouth has winter length days for 12 months of the year.
yeah ,this is based on Teign having an approx 8 hour day all year (winter), if Teigmouth had the same 12 hour days then Teigmouth would romp home ,or as a percentage .
Dallol is quite survivable with unlimited AC but one would have to go out during the night hours if you'd want to spend substantial time outdoors in summer. The pool might be a bit warm too in peak summer (even at night) but probably very comfortable in winter. Torshavn's lack of sun and any hope of warmth even in the height of summer would be more depressing than the inconvenience of not being able to be spend time outdoors in the heat of Dallol in summer and extensive use of AC year round. Now, if you take away the AC or even bring the possibility of regular and/or sustained blackouts in Dallol, the heat does become lethal if you can't cool off indoors, which in that case, I'd pick Torshavn and holiday on a tropical island twice a year.
