So far this yr 8th warmest. And thats only using 35yrs of records which should be easier to beat but look at Greenland. Wow! That and a few other extreme cold spots is why its not a record warm yr right now but still Top 10 from those few hot areas.

Northern Australia hot while Western is cold.
that's why I objected to "it's only a few very warm spots making it a hot year" — there are also some very cold spots; you can't pick off some. Though it does look like there's more "very cold spots" (green) than just "below average spots" blue spots. Would be interesting to graph the distribution .

Is it finally happening? Maybe they dont wanna get sued? Lmao

"In a truly shocking news release on its Annual Greenhouse Gas Index, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has erased any reference to “human activity” or fossil fuels."

"Well, the index may be telling us what’s happening to Earth’s climate right now, but NOAA certainly isn’t. And NOAA has company: In May, the Department of the Interior deleted a line explaining how climate change drives sea level rise from its news release on a study about coastal flooding, claiming “it didn’t add anything to the original findings.”

Not at all. I'd be willing to bet money this has something to do with the hostile Trump administration.

Arctic sea ice currently 2nd lowest on record.

That's a rather hyperbolic claim to make.

Nonsense. Nothing changes with deniers and the liars who feed them alternative "facts".

You referenced the same page I did, yet you only included one sentence from it. The larger point of that page is encapsulated by my original post: that water vapor may account for a lot of warming, but it only does so in the presence of increased temperatures brought on by CO2 & MH4.

This is the same paper guidoLaMoto referenced a few weeks back. I asked guidoLaMoto about it and got no reply, so I'll ask you:

Has it been through peer review?

If so, please provide the name of the publication. I can't find it.

Gracias!
