Depends I guess. Sports people often show clear signs of decline after passing the 30 mark.
Although it depends on the sport and what physical attributes it demands.
Yeah, athletes go through more wear and tear so they'll start aging faster. But I don't really think most normal people notice a huge difference right after 30. Hell, I would say (at least in baseball and basketball) you're still in your prime during your early 30s, up until about 33-34 or so. Then after those ages the decline is normally pretty quick.
In other sports though such as soccer and American Football, a lot of people are done by like 32. It depends like you said.
I met someone who was born on 28th August 1990 just like me. What a coincidence it was.
I've actually never met anyone born on the same month, day, and year as me. Funnily enough, though, in my grade growing up there was a set of twins born on 21/12/1991; I was born on that day in 1992. A girl I had a big crush on in 8th and 9th grade was born on 22/12/1991, which is the same as mine except a transposition of two digits.

Footballers are arguably past their peak in their late 20s. Many sportsmen are past their peak after their early 20s. It really just varies - for some sports, your 30s are better because your endurance is higher, but for others, your 20s are better because you can do greater bursts in short periods of time. And of course like Alex mentioned athletes will have been training probably since they were children so they have lots of wear and tear, while most people don't.
Here's an interesting BBC article on this subject:
So what are we to take away from these findings? Crudely speaking, you may conclude that you are at your sexual peak in your 20s, your physical peak in your 30s, your mental peak in your 40s and 50s and at your happiest in your 60s – but these are just averages, so your own trajectories may follow very different paths. Perhaps more important is the general recognition that age brings its equal shares of ups and downs; there is no, overall, prime of your life.
For the most part, I'd say people start showing noticeable decline by the time they turn 45. My mother is 52 and she has definitely aged more in the past 7 years than in the 10 years before that. She finds it noticeably harder to get up now after bending down.

Wtf this is why its not good to live in isolated underpopulated ****holes like Alice Springs. Its the crime, the boredom, the crime, etc. Considering how isolated it is I wouldnt be surprised if it's some sort of serial killer/meth addict haven, same way that New Mexico or the Adirondacks or the Ozarks are in the US. Probably a lot of Walter Whites there
I love the Adirondacks, but there are some dumpy towns up there.
New Mexico looks beautiful, but I think it's quite poor. Still would love to visit someday.
Lol that's kinda how I felt when I turned 25 earlier this year. "I can't believe I'm halfway through my 20s already"
Luckily, I hear from many older people that your 30s are basically like your 20s, except you have more money and you're smarter lol so I'm not dreading 30s too much.
I'm turning 27 in a couple weeks. Can't believe how fast time is going.
My boss bought in a few glasses so that we could look at the eclipse. It was definitely one of the coolest things I've ever seen. We had about 70% coverage here, so it did get pretty dim outside. Fun day.
I guess the next one is in 2024.
