Wow, I didn't know Corpus Christi broke the daily record by 7F. That's a lot more than I expected. Snowfall was also beyond impressive down there... heard some local areas got 6"+.
Edit: Never mind. That data wasn't for CRP. Record wasn't broken.

It's don't really matter to me. But i don't like 85 for X mas or any day of the year. But that Xmas eve day of 1983 was one of my fav days ever with that near 50 degree drop in about 24 hours time with that super ball buster front. Went from near 70 to 20. I only have a few days that stand out on the weather and that rates right up there with the no name storm of March 13th 1993. I should have been 80 miles offshore that nite and the boat was in dry dock due to a engine part that never came . Come to FL and you will have a warm X mas.
Big flip flop coming. Gonna lock in for weeks and i expect a 80+ Xmas at my house and 83+ in Miami. What comes up must come down and the upper level pattern can't stay like it is now for that long,
Hurt the start. Probably lost 1" off the totals? But it's overcome now. Moistened up. I got 1" on the ground. No wind. Falling so gently.

I'm jealous too...for now. lol. So wait... do the mountains down there have more than the Adirondacks now? I need to do a side by side. Need a good pic from a mountain down there. To be fair at 5000'.

Last 4 hrs with storm totals...
Not only do I see 6-12" of snowfall in Alabama, Georgia, NC but I see the snowpack thanks to clearing clouds.. Temps in the 30s midday. I also see 12-18" in the mountains of GA, SC, NC. Wow!
For those not sure... Watch the circled area, those aren't clouds...its not moving. It's the snowpack on the ground.
