Summer starts on June 21 when the sun angle is the highest, but the warmest days are not until July or August.
True but June, even where I live, is nit much cooler than July or august.
June 25/15
July 28/17
August 27/16
But our september is pretty nice 22/12
March not so much, averaging 5/-3....not even close to september warmth
with basically the same sun angle/strength.
Also, it seems to be snowing above freezing a lot. Since March 21 is still ongoing (and only 3 hours old), I'll look at the other snows.
March 20 - 49/33 F - 7 hours snow, all above freezing. Temperatures 33-35 F during snow.
March 13 - 48/29 F - 1/2 hours snow, above freezing. Temperature 37 F during snow.
March 12 - 45/32 F - 4 hours snow, all above freezing. Temperatures 33-34 F during snow. 2" accumulation.
March 11 - 55/34 F - 1 hours snow, above freezing. Temperatures 34-36 F during snow.
March 8 - 41/26 F - 1 hours snow, below freezing. Temperature 32 F during snow.
March 7 - 45/37 F - 1/2 hours snow, above freezing. Temperature 37 F during snow.
