Some pics in downtown Alexandria yesterday afternoon; temp got up to 67F with blue dome sky.
Doesn't look like winter and I guess didn't feel like it either. Was there a Cat 5 coming? Looks like nobody is around. Maybe was early morning.

And just like that............POOF.
Goodbye White Christmas here. Watch 1 inch of snow melt within 4 hrs. Each image is 30 minutes apart 7am-1pm. Time stamp top left corner. A little sun and drizzle and the snow had no chance
Whats funny is that the North and South Facing sides of roof melted at the same time. Usually the south facing side does first (left side)

nice, Long Island only got cold drizzle in the morning
Christmas Eve started with rain and fog (there was still snow left on the ground), but it soon changed into snow and in the evening we even had a short, but quite powerful blizzard, with gusts up to 80 km/h (50 mph). It was followed by a ground blizzard, which is still going on. The temperature stayed below -1°C (30 F) today. Merry Christmas!

There's usually not that much going on downtown Sunday afternoons; the pics were around 2 PM. Normal temp is 59F so 60's aren't that unusual here for this time of the year.
Some pictures from Qingdao. None of them look wintry, though. They mostly look summery despite temps near freezing.
Xiaoyushan. Notice the boxes with pictures of trees. They provide some protection subtropical plants inside, and provide a picture of the tree.
