D. Better than I expected, but still too cold in winter. Seasonal lag makes April far too cold.

Description of climate:

Winters are cloudy and moderately cold. Typical winter season is December 1st to April 30th, with the coldest month typically being March. Christmas is celebrated on St. Patricks Day, as that is often the coldest day of the year

Springs are comfy and mild. They usually last 2 weeks. Sometimes they last 3 weeks

Summers are comfortable and perfect for outdoor temperatures. While they're generally mild, September is prone to blasts of 90F weather

Octobers are nice and beautiful

The sun disappears in November, not appearing until next March or April. Average monthly sunshine in December is around 5 to 6 minutes. The rare sunny days between November and February are treated as national holidays

D+ is the highest merit I am willing to give this climate, the real life upstate New York climate is better than this rubbish IMO.

The description is hilarious and gets an A. The climate is horrendous and gets an F.

LOL at March/April being a sunnier continuation of winter.

I give it a D-. Too cold for too long and too dull in winter. 6 minutes of sun in December LOL

Grade: 74.3% / C

It would be a good climate, if a bit cool in summer, but the atrocious seasonal lag gave this climate a penalty. If everything were moved back one month (e.g. May's temps in April, October's in September, etc) this climate would have an 81.4% / B-.

Winter mean / Summer mean / Seasonal range / Precip / Seasonal lag / Snowfall / Record range*

98 / 73 / 90 / 86 / 17 / 67 / 79

D+/E- depending on the year. Winters are too cold and long lasting, but summer is just about acceptable. It seems like there is plenty of rain all year round.
