The current host of the G7 summit.

I rate this a B+. One of a very small amount of climates i feel that are at B+ or higher. What I like about it is that temperatures are nearly 100% ideal, precipitation peaks in the winter, but also is sufficient in the summer, and snow is pretty much like never. Only thing I don't like about it is that it's not wet enough. I really like rain.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biarritz#Climate

I do have a question on summer precipitation. Does anyone know if the rain has a tendency to be from convective activity or frontal? Or in other words I'm wondering if summertime rain in Biarritz is more likely to be with a temperature as in from a cold front or more likely to be from a warm front and make the temperature rise or stay stable like in areas such as New Zealand?

A-

The temperature curve is very nice with a pleasant summer and mild winter, the precipitation curve is also nice, plenty of rain thoughout the year without being too ridiculously cloudy. Though in order for it to be A+ (for my dream climate) I would prefer a slightly colder winter with more chance for snow, maybe just a touch more sunshine in the winter months.

C+

Too oceanic for my preference and a bit too rainy overall, especially in autumn. I prefer eastern France for being a bit more continental overall.

Solid C. Not bad but could be better. Winters are a bit cool.

B-. I usually prefer warmer summers, but a nice mild climate like this isn't bad. Winter temperatures are ideal. Sunshine could be higher.

A B- for me - it's very similar to my climate, but with 40 days more rain and 600 less sun hours.

Would take my climate over this one.

C. Incredibly wet for a Cfb climate, but temps are decent.

A: Near perfect temperatures, a bit wet in autumn/early winter.

Also B87, this city is only 223mm wetter than mine, and i would consider my city to be only 5-7/10 on the wetness scale. This is a Cfb with a 10: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hartley_Bay#Climate

Only the same rainfall as my climate, and people don't talk about here being a wet climate.

With the high rain days and lowish sunshine, Biarritz might be considered a damp climate.

When I think of typical Cfb climates I think of places in the 500-800mm range. 1500mm+ is incredibly wet, wetter than most of the cities in the western UK.
