This is what you call a troll and/or an idiot. He has no right to make these sort of statements ever. He is indeed an idiot!
Another thing 95F in Minnesota feels like the hottest temperature EVER. It was the hottest 95F has ever felt in my life. Meanwhile in Houston 95F feels like a warm hug at best. Not bad at all. So yeah Minneapolis has a HOT summer.

Indiana summers are as hot as Minnesota summers if not just a tad bit hotter, and I think summer also lasts a little longer than it usually does in Minnesota most of the time.

Minneapolis summers seem so stifling in terms of heat and humidity because of the stark contrast to the severe winters with frequent subzero temperatures and heavy snow and ice storms. The further south you go the milder the winters usually are and therefore the summer heat isn’t as oppressive on an average summer day with typical summer temperatures with humidity levels to which locals are used to experiencing, this is not counting the freak heat waves that can occur during summer where high temperatures and humidity levels can far exceed the levels typical of any given location

You know what. ... You are right. I guess I was too quick to jump in and criticize someone for that in the OP. Also that is true since temps on the 40s feel somewhat cold here but up north it doesn't feel as cold even with the same humidity levels.

This guy probably thinks Boston doesn't have a hot summer.

Boston at the very least has much more consistent high to oppressive humidity levels compared to Minneapolis during summer and it’s probably not really even a contest between the two when it comes to humidity.
Boston humidity levels only average 2-3% higher than Minneapolis', it's not that much of a difference.
Minneapolis and Boston have hot summers relative to a person's ideal comfort level (ie ~70F), but on a scale of global cities, the heat they experience is still fairly moderate. Both are around the 20th percentile (not accounting for humidity).
Indianapolis is around the 27th percentile, and Dallas is at the 84th percentile.
Most places can get hotter than FL. But no other state has 6 months of insane high dews like i do and go weeks without rain and have lows of 80f to 86f and dews of 74f to 84f
Ha, I have spent 2 weeks in St Paul/Minn in the summer....lol, oh my. LOL - maybe not as bad as KCMO, tho...NO breezes
what-so-ever!
Want to take this opportunity coming from CO now to say ...Minn haI richest blackest DIRT!
Oh I wish we had that here!
Summers have been pretty warm this decade, I can say that at least. Northeast MN has very cool summers.
