Like a song by The Temptations, this is my sentiment: "I Wish It Would Rain".

No rain here. We are officially classified as "Abnormally Dry", so if rain doesn't come soon, we're gonna be back in drought. I hope this isn't a repeat of the summer of 2007!

I remember that summer. One of the worst summers of my life. That was the summer I became a victim of crime. That summer was ridiculously hot

Yes, first time in a long time this winter. My lawn was getting brown! Can't turn on the sprinklers in winter here. As is typical of Perth winter rain, it came down in torrents. Day later, it's coming down in torrents again.

The summer of 2007 over here was also one of the worst summers of my life. July here had an average maximum of 62F, with a couple days only reaching 53F, and there was lots of flooding. I would take 100 degrees F every day of the month over that aforementioned garbage any day.

No, we've had about 10-15 days with some precipitation since late March.

Total for the year up to yesterday is 252.6 mm (9.9"). This is about average for the time of year, but grass/plants are dying and everything is dusty as most of that fell in the first 3 months of the year; we've only recorded about 2 inches since late March.
