We had a few polka dots at our house with a lot of humidity, but not as bad as 'southern states'....it is hot here, (well, hot for us beach dwellers), but inland, it is HOT! Over 100 in many places just a few minutes from here.

HOWEVER, they had just about everything but snow in S. California yesterday and maybe more today.....hail, downpours, thunder, fires caused by lightning, flash floods and a possible tornado in Palmdale....(high desert on the way to Mammoth).

Yes, lots of rainfall the last few days now that July is here (typical).

Last four days' rain:

13/7: 7mm / 0.28"
14/7: 23mm / 0.91"
15/7: 10mm / 0.39"
16/7: 11mm / 0.43"

That's more rain than we had in the whole of June, and the whole of May, and the whole of April (not all together just as individual months).
