Insomnia strikes again. I fell asleep around 12am, but I woke up before 4am and I haven't been back to sleep since. This is happening almost every night.

I also felt really, really weird when I woke up. A really unpleasant feeling. I've felt like this before but it's hard to put into words. It's like I had a really bad thought that just wouldn't go away, and it almost felt like I was scared, but I don't even remember what it was, if it was anything at all.

A trip to the doctors might be necessary at this point.

I decided that I don't care anymore and stop complaining. Ok, complaining is fun, but enough already. I promise that I don't complain about any weather in January. But maybe in February.

February 2007 global warming demonstration in Helsinki:

e: complaining made be think. What could the worst possible be? Well, that would be probably 1962, the year without summer. (Not that it had much of a spring either). If the winter would've been colder, 1962 could've be in the top 3 of coldest years ever. Still, a rare instance of Helsinki having a Köppen subarctic year.

Rate away, I don't want to create a thread on it:

Pure and utter hell.

Walking my dog at the local park without gumboots is near impossible here in winter due to the constantly waterlogged ground

I took my dog for a 3-mile walk and my jeans ended up covered in mud. My feet almost got stuck several times and I was wearing wellington boots. Really sick of this crap. Hasn't even rained much this month but the ground ends up soggy regardless. If it ain't gonna snow, I want high pressure with lots of sun and little rain, just like February 2008.

Oh, and the Church Fenton weather station is STILL down so I don't know how much sunshine we got in December and probably won't at all for a while.

I only started complaining this month, so I will complain all winter if it doesn't snow. I have hardly complained at all on here because the weather has been very agreeable with me until now, except the lack of thunderstorms.

I'll rather take April 2008. Calm, sunny and warm on our standards.
