Hello,

I am going to be relocating to WPB in the near future, and will be snorkeling daily off Singer Island, FL. However, I've heard terrible things about Riviera Beach. I've checked out the map, and observed I will need to pass through Riviera to get to Singer via US 1 & A1A.

Is there anything I need to worry about on this route? Is it safe?

I was also thinking about getting an apartment on Singer Island. Any tips/suggestions?

Thanks so much in advance for any advice!

It is fine to pass through. Just don't stop and ask for directions!

I wouldn't live there or walk around especially at night but driving through to go to work is fine.

You can always live North of Singer or on singer and not have to go through riv but driving through there shouldn't be too big of a concern.

Sky, do you think the A1A/US1 intersection is safe to drive during the day to use so I can go into WPB and further south (Delray or whatever for groceries and such)? How about during night time?

I figure A1A/US1 is about the closest roadway I can find off the bridge this side of the water, right?

FYI, I'm about to close on a place in Palm Beach Shores on Singer Island.

Thanks!

7am on a Monday morning at the BP Gas Station at Blue Heron and Broadway (US1) there was shooting involving police. 30-40 rounds fired, 7 officers involved and NOBODY GOT HIT! Video included in the link!

I sometimes go to Riveria Beach and to the beach store, "Wings"... in the daytime of course. I've never seen or had a problem getting there or leaving.

I guess if your out coping Drugs or walking the streets late at night looking for a Trick...yeah.

*TRUTHFULLY, There are more dangerous place in WPB than RB. (You'll see....)

Please...stay in Beverly Hills and away from Singer Island. We don't need scared peps coming here. This place is a secret...Rich People will be coming here and pumping up the price of RE. Stay home...
