...all those crappy houses were bought up by investors. They're just waiting for the Start Flag to drop...they will bull doze those down.

Plenty of options like those condo projects they built out by Congress. Sold new for 200-250-300K and the banks are dumping them for 75K.

Also keep in mind some of those folks hit the lottery with what they are getting for those teardowns in that area. But the city of RB owns most of the waterfront stuff, the Viking parcels are off the waterfront (their main yard is on the water but the spec land is dry).

There is a ton of potential in that area but it will be work to chase away the hookers/crack heads/trouble makers. Remember last year there was a huge shootout at the gas station at Blue Heron/Broadway so trouble will be around for years to come even if that place gets finished as a touristy area.

I'm starting to agree with you. I don't know HOW THEY will force those "undesirable's" out. Too many drug users West of Broadway.

The problem is DRUGS and DRUG USERS living West of Broadway.

SOLUTION: Get rid of drug users in that area....BUT HOW?
