Hello, my husband just accepted a new job in Boca Raton but our daughter will be going to school at G-Star in W Palm Beach. Is there a nice, safe, area for us to live in that would be somewhere between the two? We are looking to rent an apartment initially and fell in love with San Merano at Mirasol in Palm Beach Gardens but we are worried the commute to Boca will be too far for my husband? Does anyone know how traffic is during rush hour times from PBG to Boca? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

If your husband is going to work in Boca, might as well try to find a place in Boca or Delray!

Depending on where in Boca the job is, you can be looking at 30-40 minutes at the height of rush hour. More if there is an accident on 95 ... from Mirasol to Boca. Though, if it's West Boca, the turnpike will ease the commute a bit.

I guess everything is relative...my commute to Manhattan from NJ is an hour and half one way.

My sister lives and works in PGA...she has 5 minute commute and no bags under eyes.

My DH's commute to miami is over an hour
and His commute from NJ to Manhattan was 90 minutes on a good day each way...and before we left NJ his commute from Central NJ to Northern NJ was 2 hours one way so it is all relative however when you move away from the hustle and bustle who wants it again...

so I agree commuting sucks..lol

I had a five minute commute and then our company consolidated into Manhattan. It's horrible. You're a zombie because you're sleep deprived all the time.

What part of NJ did you move from? I am in Morris County now, but lived in Bergen County for a while. I am ready for Palm Beach County.
