Cable TV & Internet advice (movies, beach, budget)

Just wondering (on a slight budget here) if any members in palm beach county can comment on good, bad, cheap, not cheap internet tv service in the area. Thanks much.

I was paying $65 per month for basic cable (no internet, telephone, DVR, no premium channels, etc.) from Comcast when I canceled it late last year. I couldn't justify the expense as I'm only in South Florida about 4 months. I get OTA channels and bought a Roku box this week. My TV also has a UBS connection and I can download movies, tv shows, etc. Cable TV is so not worth the expense.

As far as internet, I get that from AT&T on some teaser rate for $20 bucks a month for Extreme DSL.

Comcast sucks, avoid at all cost.

AT&T U-Verse is expensive if you can even get it but the DSL internet works well for me. There service is not much better, but if it works you never need to call them.

There isn't much else to choose from other than Dish and DirectTV.

Hopefully someday soon Google Fiber TV will be available here?

We switched to Uverse for everything...tv, phones, and Internet...it is not cheap...over $200 a month for what we have...but we have a lot of kids and lots of channels...if you want basic stick to Comcast...they suck but they are cheap.
