Also, they limited strip mining which is very profitable for the bottom line of the company but not for the actual workers or wv economy.

Wv has the opportunity to really develop and prosper, but I am afraid corruption, apathy, ignorance, and incompetent state government will allow all the wealth to flow out of state instead of benefitting wv.

Bingo. Most of our state politicians are basically owned by energy interests... owners and union. They pay little attention to the ordinary citizen and operate on a special interest group basis.
