We recently received an opportunity to identify PT's and OT's in Martinsburg WV area to provide services to the Military and commerically. At the same time, I'd like to communicate to the Military a realistic picture of the PT / OT market.
Can anyone give me some insight?

Does anyone who commented on this post actually live in Berkeley Springs, WV? I'm 24 years old, and I have lived here just about all my life, other than the few years I spent in the Army. This is a dead end town, no jobs, bad schools, drug problems, disrespectful/corrupt cops, and high teen pregnancy rates. These problems seem to get worse every year, especially the drug problems. The police/government officials are probably the worst of all the the problems. The police are very corrupt, and ready to charge you with every little crime they can. Most of the police officers here are as rude as can be, but DEMAND to be respected. I was harassed constantly as a teenager because of the way I dressed basically. It is not a teenager friendly town. It's all about who you know, and who's butt you kiss. I have nothing good to say about this town, my own home town. Berkeley springs high school does not have any sex ed classes, or anything of the type. Even though teen pregnancy rates are horrible. At least 5-10 high school girls get pregnant every year. Yet, No changes.. Drug problems get worse every year, yet this town has no local rehabilitation programs. They just take the addicts money, and send them to jail, or a out of town rehabilitation if they are very lucky. This is done to get revenue for our small town. Which that money is spent on the SWAT team they use to kick in the doors of minor drug users. Only seeing the addiction problem as criminal, not a health issue. They also used that money, over one million dollars, to build a spectacular courthouse, the nicest building in the town. Rather than fix our decaying roads, improving the schools, or giving the police offers classes on how to treat people like human beings. They use this money on a expensive courthouse, a SWAT Team, better police cars and gear. Just to imprison their own people of this town. Law enforcement is not the answer.. If that was the answer this town would have been a utopia years ago. Absolutely no jobs either unless you want to cook fast food, or work on tires. I know this post is very old, but I try to get this message to as many people as possible. I want people to know, I want this place to be a nice place to live, even for the kid's and teenagers. Please research the issues I wrote about in this comment. The information is hard to find, but it's out there. The local government can only cover it up so much. Please email me for more detailed discussion, or if you have any issues with this town your self, I'm all ears. Email me at [mod] Email address removed [/mod]
