Someone had found this report on a website last month or so. Glad to see it's still true AND that it hit CNN. Thanks for the info.

Actually, I've seen some reports saying it is Charles Town, not Charleston. I wonder if they know the difference?

Probably not, considering that I've heard WV referred to as "WestERN Virginia" on NBC national news before.

I certainly believe that. I lived in the NYC area for 15 years, and nearly everyone there believes West Virginia is part of Virginia... like the East River is part of the Hudson. They've definitely heard of WVU, but they think it is one of three major universities in Virginia. Tell someone you're from West Virginia and invariably you get "I was there last year at Virginia Beach".

kinda like people thinking New Mexico is part of Mexico or Baja Ca is part of Calif and not Mexico.

The unhealthiest title just moved south a little from the previous year. That's right, your home state of PA claimed not only the fattest city but also the most depressed city for 2005. And since you seem so interested, the data from 2006 that was used for Huntington was actually over 10% higher than 2005 and went down over 13% for 2007. Seems that their data was a little skewed in 2006 for one reason or another. Huntington does have a lot to work on in that category though and it seems like this rating is helping encourage people to do so. Here are some articles for you about the subject:
