DK, check out West Virginia Conservative Foundation

Better yet, hook up with a Tea Party group in your area. MoTown has one.
Don't know if they have a "current" website but this website has a couple email addresses listed (site itself is not current) that may help.
Morgantown Tax Tea Party (http://morgantownteaparty.blogspot.com/ - broken link)

Thank-you for that tip...the repubs will trot out the same old worn out cronies as the Demo's did (Clinton and one idiot, (Kerry)

The Dems need nobody now that Ted Kennedy is firmly in the grave. Obama does it all...

I'm hoping that somebody with a brain and an excellent record of anti-butt kissing like General Powell will spearhead a movement just like Teddy Roosevelt did in 1905.

The Dems only chance is to fragment the entire country with chaos and propaganda...the hint of voter appathy and disgust is coming in Virginia this Tuesday...

We are disgusted with the entire tribe of losers and mis-managers of the public trust. And they have frorgotton who they work for...

A tidal wave of discontent will drive them out of Washington and many states...the sleeping giant has been awakened from his slumber and he is pissed off...

They know their hours are numbered...

have a good weekend...

me? Miami for a week this afternoon.

Limited government and more personal freedom.
Delusion. Limited government - the biggest and meanest corporation, war lord, gangster gang (government in inner cities is quite limited, btw.) will make the rules. Besides, society & economy became so complex (alas) that without somebody making imperfect sense of that complexity otherwise it's collapse and slaughter. BTW, the biggest consumer of the big government services are corporations and businesses from oil wars, protecting foreign investments, labor control&indoctrination, etc. to zillions of mundane business interest disputes (without government those are settled by hit men).

who wants to punish success and hard work (assuming big CEO wouldn't).
success and hard work of the successful is NOTHING without "laziness" and minimum wages of less successful ones. The more "success" out there the more misery of unsuccessfuls it takes.

American plutocracy is masterful in managing the wage slave crowd using carrots ("success" aka non zero chance of becoming a wage slave master etc.) and sticks (joblessness, poverty, fear, isolation, illness, old age.) + general dumbing down. Becoming "successful" (in the current system) is not the answer because your possible success is impossible without countess "failures", pyramid is shaped one way, base is huge compared to the tip.

You must not have heard about Powell's presentation to the UN.

Larry Wilkerson, Powell's then-chief of staff, explained to CNN in 2005 what Powell had been thinking two years earlier:
WILKERSON: [Powell] had walked into my office musing and he said words to the effect of, I wonder how we'll all feel if we put half a million troops in Iraq and march from one end of the country to the other and find nothing.
Colin Powell has said it will always be part of his record. Taking a country to war on false pretenses has to be the ultimate Butt Kissing.

Know of any groups heading to DC on Thursday for the Healthcare rally?
Any buses going?

Info on rally in Thursday:
Quote:
Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has put out a call for action to the American people to meet at the Capitol steps on Thursday, November 5th at 12:00noon. She plans to lead a walk through the House office buildings (Cannon, Longworth and Rayburn) and the Capitol with the intent of finding
Congressmen and telling them to their faces to “leave healthcare alone”.

So Michele Bachmann is heading this rally huh...This is truly who you guys want to be your leader on this front? The same Michele Bachmann who wanted people to boycott the Census because she was afraid ACORN had some vested interested in it? The same Michele Bachmann that wanted to investigate members of Congress that didn't agree with her nut job views as being "un-American?" The same Michele Bachmann that wanted people to start a violent revolution against Cap and Trade? The same Michele Bachmann that supports teaching of intelligent design in schools and thinks gay people suffer from sexual identity disorders? The same Michele Bachmann who voted against an increase in Pell grant maximum limits and decreases in student loan interest rates? And people honestly wonder why conservatives aren't taken seriously? If anyone goes and gets the chance to speak with her, try asking how much she received from the insurance industry during her campaign? Also, if Bachmann hates government healthcare so much maybe she should consider giving up her own! Actions do speak louder than just making a big scene with her big mouth.

I don't plan on being a participant in the "rally" because I have a job but can't wait to see some feedback on it.
