Moving to WP (Delhi: house, to buy, best schools)

Hi All,

We are likely to move to WP (due to spouse's career progression) in about 18 months time from New Delhi for about a couple of years. I think i would like to utilize this time to get a good MBA degree(prefer one year prog). Are there any good univ's in about WP area? Know that there is Pace univ but does it/would it make more sense to commute to NYC area to get a good MBA?

Secondly, what would be present costs of an independent house, say 2500 SQFT plus in an area closer to metro station?

2500 SF House would be about $800,000. The best schools are probably NYU and Columbia.

Thanks for your reply. Do you think that in the present realty scenario it is a right thing to buy a house or do you think its worthwhile to wait further so that rates go further south..?

On another note, how do u feel a NET household income of 120k (post tax)for a small family, is it enough to get by ?
