Thank you for all your replies, the good thing my husband and I already have jobs. But since we will be renting for about 6 month to get more familirized with our surroundings, we would lkie to know where the best part of town to live/rent is. We like going out to nice bars, good restaurants, live in a clean safe neighborhood. I guess the reason I am asking is that we don't want to sign a lease somewhere and than figure out a month later the it is much better to live in another part of town. Is there a big differnce between East, West, South and North Asheville? Meaning quality of life. I also have 2 dogs and love to go for long walks with them, I just kind of would like some advice as to where to go in Asheville, are there any bad parts in town? Thank you fro you help, Katrin.
