Hi gang!

Over the last six weeks I have been busy moving. My sis needs a full-time caregiver, so I moved to Transylvania County to take care of her! I'm going to miss the Boone area, but will be back & forth regularly.

I have to say that much has changed in the 23 years since I lived in Etowah! I thought traffic in BOONE was bad!!! The traffic in Brevard makes Boone look like Sunday morning in downtown Atlanta!! Geeze . . . At least winter will be better . . . no snowbirds, no ski resorts, and no App State!

Would love to meet any City-Data friends in the area. I'm still looking for a place to keep my horse. If you know of a pasture for rent near Pisgah Forest let me know, thanks!

Tracey

Boone's loss is Brevard's gain

Best of luck to you and your sis!

And thanks for the head's up about traffic. That's discouraging to hear, but good info to know.

Timeshared in SapphireValley for 15 years and spent time in Bevard . I like that area and yes traffic in all those NC
towns is nuts including Dillard,Waynesville,Silva,Ashville ,Highlands,Cashiers and Hendersenville are all insane ,but
great towns.. I sold a lot in Whisper Lake due to overwhelming cost to build and the area good old boys draining my
bank account so they can play golf for Gods sake. Associations fees ,water availablity costs, mandatory security fees
taxes and soon you realize unless you stumbled into an inheritance, were preciously a CEO or a crook you don't belong
there.
