I esp like the winter shots, as we lived here full time from 2001-2005, but escape high mtn winters the past several years.

Had a great TSE experience yesterday. The few clouds mostly gave way during totality. I would say that there probably isn't a camera that can capture the image quite like your eyes. An absolutely awe inspiring experience.

Great shot!!!! That's amazing. Dang, I wish I was there to see it. Had to work down here in Florida. Hope everyone had a great time. I wonder if anyone else took any photos.

My idiot husband scheduled a trip right over this and it was significantly cheaper to leave from RDU so my plans were ruined and I had to watch from Raleigh. Here's my pictures from there. 90% totality.

Was up on Rich Mountain at Moses Cone Park (off Shull's Mill Rd) in Boone/Blowing Rock this past weekend. Had a gorgeous sunset hike. My daughter snapped this photo with my iPhone 7.
