Anyone living in Black MTN,Hendersonville or Weaverville? Asheville itself? Ideas,advice on retiring to any of these areas. Thanks so much

I live in Hendersonville. Lots of retirees in the areas you mentioned. Hendersonville population 55 years or older is 39.6%.

Asheville-Hendersonville Weather

Average daily highs and lows over a 30-year period.

Average yearly snowfall total - around 15".

The wettest AND the driest areas of the entire state are both within the Asheville metro area.

Have you also considered the small town of Brevard in Transylvania County? It's a favorite among retirees too. Around 30 miles from Asheville.
