question regarding Ashville taxi cost and distances. (Woodfin: how much, hotel)

Hello,
hoping someone can answer this....
I am from NY, and don't drive. I have an employment interview at Craggy correctional and need to know approximately how much it would cost by cab from the nearest hotel...say, maybe the Hampton Inn, which seems by the map unless I'm wrong, to be the closest-to Craggy.

My husband was supposed to drive me, but we just found out our car is going to need a new transmission, so looks like I'll be flying and then cabbing it. Is it very expensive to do this? I have never been to Ashville before.

A Google search will get you listings for all the major companies in town then contact them and ask for prices. Also, be aware that the bus system has a route that goes to the airport so you could take it. Check the routes and you may find that the bus route goes out tot he prison which if I remember correctly is in Woodfin. So you may be able to get by completely using the bus system. I'm sure that someone a the office you are going to could tell you whether the bus route is nearby. Good luck--
