Of course this is huge news in the Upstate, but wanted to share this for Western NC folks. Not sure where most Western NC people fly in/out of (AVL, GSP, ATL, or CLT?) but for some this will dramatically lower ticket prices. I suppose this affects those most in the Southern Highlands (Asheville, Hendersonville) and bordering counties to the Upstate. Service is expected to begin Spring 2011.
