I have an interview this week in Big Bend, Wisconsin. I know it is near Vernon, Wisconsin. Is it an affluent area? I know there are less than 3,000 people who live there.

There are only single family homes in the area. What is a nice area/town withing a ½ hour/30 minute drive that is affordable that may have condominiums or apartments?

What can you please tell me about the area? The non-google stuff. Thank you.

Tom

New Berlin, Muskego, and the city of Waukesha are all nice viable options to live that are relatively close to Big Bend. There are some nice condos and apartments available in those communities. Good luck with the interview!

Big Bend is a bedroom community great for raising kids and spreading your wings. If you're a 20-something, or a single-anything, and living in Big Bend, I'm going to go out on a limb and say you'll off yourself out of boredom within a year.

Seriously though, you can get to Downtown Milwaukee in ~40min. There's a booming condo scene and it's a happening place. I just moved after ~10years in the Downtown area and regret nothing about my time there.
