I got hooked on Topper's when I was still in College. They were open til 4 AM in sloshkosh, so I quickly developed an affinity for their pies from tackling so many of them while wasted.

Closest one to me now is in Janesville, but I still hook it up on occasion.

Ugh. Toppers started out as a worse-than-Domino's bottom-feeder pizza chain in Illinois college towns. They darn near went out of business before retreating up to Wisconsin whose universities aren't attended primarily by Chicago-area students who know what good pizza is supposed to taste like. I was in Stevens Point a couple years ago and I ordered Topper's to see if it was as bad as I remember it. Regrettably, it was.

The best pizza in Wisconsin is Papa Murphy's. By the time ours gets to the oven it has half of most of the veggies in the fridge drawer added on top. What you'd pay $15 dollars to add on your pizza only costs you a couple. Plus it's always the exact temperature to eat. About 20 locations.

Papa Murphy's is what we normally get. The best in Wisconsin ? Of course not.

Thanks. Toppers has invaded Milwaukee and "pretty lame" was my impression just from looking at the franchise design. If your menu is overwhelmed with other items, then your pizza likely sucks. If you have an expansive menu, then you are desperate.
