This issue gets my adrenaline flowing. What I hate most is seeing them being flicked out the windows of cars. If you must smoke, put the nasty habit crap in your ash tray and smell it. There are a few more things I'd like to say about it but I'll be quiet.

I didn't have to speak for you -- you spoke for yourself. The fact that someone from California dares to lament a foul, disgusting litter problem is evidently more egregious to you than the litter problem itself, as if where she's from has any connection whatsoever to the merits of her complaint. As I mentioned in another thread, we had a flat tire on our boat trailer Saturday. The flat tire was on the driver side, but the spare mounts on the passenger side of the trailer. When I went to remove the spare off the trailer I noticed the cigarette butts, from the edge of the gravel shoulder where the grass starts it was one butt after another. First I thought some one had dumped out their ashtray where I was standing, but no, it was that way as far as we walked. These were butts thrown out from cars. If there were a hundred butts in a 12 inch by twenty foot strip, can you just imagine how many people are throwing their butts out the window. I'm sure it's like that all along the road. Surprising that there aren't more grass fires.

As dry as it has been very scarey really and just a major issue, throwing them out of the car!

You have no clue what my priorities are regarding cigarette butt litter...news flash I never addressed that in this thread!!
