I'm take contract positions (C2C) that last 3 months to 12 months at a time. As a result, my ratevaries at any given time. I am 28.

2006 to 2010: $68/hr to $137/hr Corp to Corp.

Lets include degree or certification info.

I have an AS in Comp Sci and am working on my BS/MS (accelerated MS program).

Forgot to mention Certs: PMP, and a bunch of technical IT certificates.

To get your hourly rate, divide your salary by 2000.

Say you make $120,000.

120,000/2,000 = $60/hr.

This is a rough estimate that takes into consideration standard holidays and whatnot.

Can we make this a little useful, and have people post their college degree or other certification credentials?

Degree / Cert / experience - good idea.
