I'll bet they are really looking at one person, but asked everyone to attend the meeting. Who has the lowest performance rating at your office? Who is often tardy? Who is submitting sloppy and unfinished work?

we were told we have to performing at a high level by end of february or we will be fired
something they could have said after 9am
Well for starters you know what you have to do. How are you going to strategize? Do you think there is any chance you were one of the staff they were talking about? Do you have a quota of ex-cons you are supposed to be counselling or what? How is your performance determined?
......Because bosses are annoying and don't care about their employees.
They do not want to waste the employees working on their time so they make the meetings either before or after work hours on the employees time.........
They are probably going to let people go anyway. This is just their way of motivating people to find another job so they will not have to fire them. If people quit, they will not have to pay for unemployment.
This is a really sad situation for anyone to have to face. February is not much time to have to significantly improve by. The fact that you have had four new supervisors in the last 18 months (who have mostly all been fired), says alot about your workplace, TV. Very sad.
