The OP, in other threads, has previously shown no remorse in engaging in such actions. It basically is just a job where his #1 priority is to make money, not to serve his 'clients'.
Yeah...I am starting to see that. Obviously it goes without saying that if anyone finds out he does that kind of thing he would be fired at the least, and maybe have a lawsuit on his hands.
It's also not up to you to determine the appropriate pay for a position.
You're absolutely right about that, but to be fair he was asked several times in this thread what he thought the pay should be. There's plenty to criticize him for besides just answering the question.
So you withheld leads from unemployed people, caused them to stay unemployed longer than they had to over $2/hr? You should be glad none of your clients know you do this. You don't feel ashamed about doing this at all?
No because I already said another lead was provided in it's place
So you have no qualms with NOT presenting your clients with all the employment options available to them (that they are qualified for)?
This just blows my mind. I'm truly bewildered by the fact he's treating his clients as though they are not capable of making decisions for themselves, as though they need someone to protect them from themselves.
I'm pretty sure that acting in loco parentis isn't in your job description.
No because I already said another lead was provided in it's place
What if that lead doesn't work out? What if they would actually like the other job better?
WestPhillyDude - I have a challenge for you. Post this exact same thread in the unemployment forum and see what the response is. Let's let people who are actually unemployed decide.
Whatever I withhold there is something else being provided in it's place
I don't know why you're slapping your head.
Your own comments attest to the fact that you knowingly withheld a job lead that the client should have received, and that you cheated them out of a job lead, and lessened the chance they'd find a job.
There is no 'they got an other lead instead.' They should have gotten BOTH.
If you provide 8 job leads -- and you say instead of the parking lot gig being the 8th lead, you gave them the office job lead as number 8. We'll you COULD have given the office job lead as #8 -- AND the parking lot gig as #9. So they still were cheated out of a job lead....by YOU.
You should give them EVERY job lead
