The company I worked for was silly where they brought folks in under a particular salary and then come the annual review they stated we were too "penetrated" in the level pay range so no raises for us. (The field that I am in expects yearly raises so I left for greener pastures and received a nice bump from my second employer.)

I stayed 17 years, then moved to another state and started a business, lasting 16 years. Now in my 3rd "career" for 5 years so far, which combines the skills/experience from the first two.
I stayed at my first company for 10.5 years. I tried to leave prior but I did not get any interviews. It was actually a blessing in disguise because most of those companies are not around today. I wish that I did not get the job I did. Things have been on a downward trajectory since then. A company's culture is very important.
5 years, 9 months....left for a 30% raise at a bank
