Back when I was working full time as an Operations Manager I was under siege from my coworkers, boss and senior management. I tried the best I could but lots of people did not like me personally or respect my work.

Anyway, while minding my business -doing my business- sitting on the toilet in the restroom at work, three of my coworkers came in. In this group was a man who worked for me. They did not look if anyone was in the rest room and while they were standing at the sink they started talking about me. They said all kinds of terrible things about me and when one guy really started in on me, my Assistant told him I was on my way out so just be patient. He then went on to tell everyone how much of a fool I was and they all started laughing!

I wanted to come out of the toilet stall and tell them off, but I decided to wait them out and listen in on their conversation. They went on to say some additional terrible things about me.

What would you do in this situation?

Agree.

OP has started 230 threads. A quarter of his total posts have been new threads. What?

And look at how many of those threads have been locked.

I answer lots of threads too and some of the moderators don't understand me! Plus other posts have started thousands of threads.

Starting new threads for a legitimate reason is one thing, making up a story/thread just to get rep points is weird.

FIRST:

The story is true.

SECOND:

While I like rep points, it is not that important to me

THIRD:

If you have no interest in my story, move on to another post!

I would have let out a fart so foul that the toxic fumes would have knocked them out cold.

How did you know they didn't look around to see if they were alone? Did your stall not have a door? Eww!

Maybe they knew you were in there and were wanting to be heard.

I would use what I heard behind their backs as leverage.
