There are no “right” answers on a personality test. Also, the good ones are very subtle and difficult to fool. The best thing to do is to relax and answer the question honestly. It could help you get the position you want. Employers don’t want a strategic, Type-A person in expense processing, just as they wouldn’t want an introvert in customer service. Having the right fit is important.
Hey folks thanks again for your help. I moved onto the next process and now they want me to do a pre-recorded interview, in which I record my answers through the webcam. This is a really tedious process..

That's a new one to me as well.
Btw... In regard to your answer to that question, the best answer is the one that reflects you. Not what the company expects you to say.

Out of curiosity, what kind of job are you applying for?

So you submitted an application for an HR position and you had to:
1. Take a math test
2. Do a phone interview
3. Take a personality/cognitive ability test
4. Do a pre-recorded webcam interview
....5. In-person interview?
Seems like an awful lot of steps to get a job. Plus why would they waste their time with a phone interview before a pre-recorded interview?
Either they know nothing about hiring and are just throwing everything they can at you or you are pulling our chain.
Thanks for the replies everyone. Those are the actual steps of the interview process, sadly. I know it's just HR but it seems like standard protocol regardless of position.
This is an entry-level job and it's supposed to pay 40,000 a year. And the next level is in-person. I heard a lot of people fail at this stage so I'm a little worried, I haven't done the webcam interview yet..
Hey everyone, do you all think it'd be okay for me to take this interview on Friday? I received the invitation on Monday and there is no deadline or any indication of when I should take it.
